What's New at Cambridge Algorithmica

23rd November 2006 (ii).  The Company has introduced a new and cost-efficient service, aimed specifically at the biometrics sector.  This is a Biometric Fusion Design Service.  The service is targeted at biometrics systems integrators, manufacturers, and large user organisations.  It provides improved technical performance for the various forms of Multi-Biometric Fusion, including: Multi-Modal Biometric Fusion, Multi-Instance Fusion, Multi-Sensorial Fusion and Multi-Algorithmic Fusion.

23rd November 2006 (i).  The website format has been revised, using frames.  Frames facilitate separation of the main display area from a fixed left-hand navigation panel and the logo area at the top.  Also, depending on the browser and file format, frames allow documents and presentations to be viewed bounded, above and to the left, by the house style.  The new layout is suited towards monitors with a 4:3 or 5:4 aspect ratio and at least 1152x864 pixels, and might be better with the browser's own sidebar switched off.  Given variations between browsers and operating systems, it might improve layout to change the standard font size (eg with ctrl+, ctrl-), and the size of the top and left frames (drag boundary with mouse).

27th March 2006.  There is a new technical presentation: Iris Pattern Matching using Score Normalisation Techniques (as a PDF).  This presentation of the Company's recent work on iris recognition was given to the United States Iris Challenge Evaluation (ICE) Workshop held on 22/23 March 2006.  This presentation and further information on work on biometrics can be found under the website pages for Biometrics and Publications.
